Legal due diligence checklist for European acquisitions

Compiled this checklist from my experience across 3 European jurisdictions. Sharing for the community: - Corporate structure and ownership chain - Employment contracts and collective bargaining agreements - IP ownership and licensing agreements - Material contracts (customer & supplier) - Litigation history and pending disputes - Environmental compliance and liabilities - GDPR compliance status - Regulatory licenses and permits - Real estate leases and property rights - Tax compliance and outstanding assessments Country-specific items vary a lot. French labor law DD is particularly important. German environmental DD can be a dealbreaker for industrial companies. What am I missing?
